There was an effect of trial (p = 0.032), an effect of time (p < 0.05), and a trial x time interaction (p = 0.005) for acylated ghrelin. Subject hunger ratings (mean ± SEM) response to the question "How hungry do you feel right now?" on a VAS from 0 to 100 (0 = not hungry at all; 100 = extremely hungry).
