SPM1D independent samples t tests were used to compare PC score trajectories between elite and amateur players. Peak t represents the maximum value of the observed SPM t trajectory. Significant window indicates the normalized time interval where the observed t trajectory exceeded the critical threshold. Adjusted p values were calculated using Bonferroni correction across the 12 PC phase comparisons. Hedges’ g was calculated from participant level mean PC scores within each significant cluster. Negative peak t and Hedges’ g values indicate higher scores in the amateur group. For PCs without suprathreshold clusters, cluster extent was set to 0, whereas cluster-level p values, Hedges’ g, and significant windows are indicated by “—”. |
